Preschool students spend their day learning Bible stories, reading together, art, letters and sounds, shapes and colors, numbers and counting, and many other things through engaging lessons as well as hands-on activities. Creativity is very important to us in preschool classrooms. Inside and outside playtimes further enhance learning and social skills. Fine motor and gross motor skills develop on the playground as well as in the classroom.

TCA Preschool

Torch Christian Academy offers a Preschool Program for ages 3, and 4-year-old children. The 3-year-old has 2 options. You can choose for your child to attend class 3 days a week or 5 days a week, 8AM-12PM.

Children must turn 3 by September 1st to be enrolled in the 3-year-old class, and 4 by September 1st to be enrolled in the 4-year-old Pre-K class. Children must also be potty trained to attend the 4-year-old Pre-K class.

We use the Abeka Program including art, Bible lessons, outside play, P.E., Kindermusik style music class, and morning snack time.  

We believe it is important for our preschool-age children to learn in an environment that is full of playtime and encouragement, age-appropriate development, and love from their teachers and friends.
